Why is it so hard for a small business to have a good website? We kept asking ourselves that question. The answer became Webey.
How it started
As marketers, we worked with small business owners every day. We kept seeing the same pattern: entrepreneurs paying thousands for a simple website, or wasting hours on tools that were either too expensive or too complex.
WordPress with endless plugins. Wix with limitations the moment you want something different. Webflow requiring a developer degree. For a coach, restaurant or hairdresser, building a website shouldn't be this hard.
So we decided to build it ourselves. A Dutch platform, fairly priced, without the fluff. A tool where you have a professional website in minutes — no code, no hassle.
