Managing Media

Upload images, manage your media library, and use media in blocks and templates.

The media library is your central place for all images and files. Upload them once and use them anywhere on your website.

Step 1: Open the Media Library

In the editor, when you select an image field, the media library opens automatically. You can also go directly to the media section via the dashboard.

Step 2: Upload Images

Click Upload or drag files to the upload area. Supported formats:

  • JPG/JPEG β€” for photos
  • PNG β€” for images with transparency
  • SVG β€” for logos and icons
  • WebP β€” modern format, smaller file size
  • GIF β€” for animations

πŸ’‘ Tip: Use WebP where possible. It offers the same quality as JPG/PNG but with 25-35% smaller files, making your website faster.

Step 3: Use in Blocks

For any block with an image field (Hero, Image, Gallery, Team, etc.), click the field to open the media library. Select an existing image or upload a new one.

Step 4: Image Options

For most image blocks, you can configure:

  • Alt text β€” description for accessibility and SEO
  • Width β€” image size
  • Link β€” make the image clickable

⚠️ Note: Don't forget to fill in the alt text. This is important for accessibility and also helps with SEO.
